Lost Count On Number Of Failed Attempts!
And I honestly don't care to remember even if I could!
But today is a new day!
I had a tearfest with my wife last night after yet another episode of drinking while trying to hide it from her. God Bless that woman she is so strong to hold onto me through all this BS I been putting her through. We sat in her closet and cried it out and I just let it all out and admitted to her that I CAN'T DO THIS ALONE! We prayed and asked for help from God and today is a new day! I'm so glad you all are here for me.

Hi HJ. Well this is a good place to explore, share, vent and get good advice on our alcoholism and how to combat it. We have to surrender to it to win as our best efforts mostly got us nowhere. I needed to have it drilled into me that it's the first drink that gets me drunk. After putting away the denial, dishonesty factors about my drinking action was needed so I joined AA which at first with my rebellious imature attitude I disliked but it was the best show in town for millions. The big plus is that it works if we work it. Not saying it's easy but the results can be with time so good. BE WELL
