recycling put out
Hi, I hope before the recycling gets collected next, I hope I won't have filled the bin with cans like I normally have done. Normally I have to extra do recycling trips.
Oh I didn't think of that aspect. My neigbours (I live in an apartment block of four so we share bins) will think I have disappeared when there's no longer all those cans, bottles & pizza boxes in the trash. Not to mention the lack of music blaring every couple of nights at 2am in the morning, or the drunk, stupid phone calls I make while standing on the balcony.
Although I am making it up to them by blaring music during the daytime

My recycling bin was a major source of shame to me. It is massive and it was always full of empty cans. I cringed every time I heard it being emptied. It now takes me 3 months to fill with empty water bottles and I always smile a little when I get to put it out and I don't have to listen to glass smashing and cans crashing

I love the fact that almost none of the recycling is mine.
My partner drinks still, but from me there is,just one four Pinter of milk carton. Nothing else.
It still makes me smile listening every saturday and Sunday morning to my neighbours chucking out their glass bottles etc.
It's like a trash can orchestra.
I also remember when I was drinking how the little girl next door used to bounce on her trampoline whilst playing the recorder at 8 am in the morning.
It was like torture with a hangover.
Now I love it, I want to join in!!!!
Maybe I could play the triangle or the cymbal!,,,,
Wishing you the best
