Can you have your phone in rehab?
 

I want to text someone I know in rehab.
He has been there for about 3 weeks.
Sometimes I see he is on facebook/twitter on the mobile setting.
Sometimes his phone is off when I call, sometimes it is on.
Who regulates this?
Does he have his phone or does a nurse or someone take it away?
Can he receive and open messages or are they being monitored??

I know all rehabs are different, but what do you think?

Answer is NO.
When I went to rehab all phones were taken. Reason being we are talking about addicts here. We would find sneaky ways to get drugs and alcohol into rehab. Rehab is safe cell free zone.
