New beginnings ongoing
 

Im sitting at work thinking why did I leave my old salon which was new and hip to come back to the place I used to work? First it was money I thought it'd be better here cause there's more walk in traffic and the locations better.its usually pretty steady but today I am sitting here thinking that again I've made a big mistake because I jumped the gun and left to go back to where I was. Sometimes I make quick decisions and don't think things through ,then worry about the consequences later like I'm doing now. It's not a bad place,just a little dated and in need of some interior work but my boss doesn't see it like that because she's in a place where her clients are steady and she's making her money,I get it but I'm sitting here doing nothing and worrying how I'm going to pay my bills with no hair to cut. I could kick myself for not discussing it with my partner at great lengths and really thinking it through. Well all I can do now is make it work to the best of my ability ,hope that my work in itself will attract new clients and bring in more business .guess all in all having a job at all these days and a trade where i can actually make money is a good thing. Even though I'm not very busy right now. I haven't used any narcotics in almost a month and I'm looking forward to getting some time under my belt..thanks for letting me vent,I feel a little better already..have a good one everyone...

Hi Jett- I hope that you are continuing to feel better. One month of no narcotics is a great accomplishment.

Keep working at building up your client base and who knows...maybe one day you'll have your own new and hip salon...if that's something you're interested in. Just try to take it day by day. You never know what new opportunities may be around the bend, and when I'm giving it my all, they seem to come at me much more frequently.
