5. It makes your family and friends ashamed of you.
6. It makes you ashamed of you.
7. It makes you mean sometimes.
8. It makes you call up people @ all hour and say stupid stuff that you
don't remember the next day.

It makes you choose a bottle over the children you brought into the world, who depend on you and love you. It will make you let your children be in an unsafe environemnt. Like when you have been drinking but tell everyone you haven't and then drive with your kids in the car. Or you fall asleep when you are supposed to be watching your babies.

It makes you choose a bottle over your mate, the one you once loved more then anything else. Now your mate is looked at with scorn as you turn your back to return to the one you love now over all else in your life. :worried:

All of these are so sad,but so very true.
I almost lost my life.My kids my husband.
I am just now starting to re-build my life.
I was really keeping track of my sobriety, but Im loosing track now.
I am focusing on new things.
I do know for sure when my last drink was...October 25,2003!
Drinking takes away from every asspect in your life.
It took alot of mine.
Now that I am sober,I am still stuck with the scars that it has left me.
But...a brighter outlook on life and knowing that now I am strong enough not to drink!

It's a slap in God's face for destroying the beauty he created in us!

It takes away your sanity, you car, your house, your money, your emotions, your family, your job.

Here, have one on me!

great career enhancement tool
you get named really cute nicknames by the folks in the neighborhood
easy way to know the deputies by first name
provide maximum entertainment for the bros just trying to ride out of the parking lot
you get real acquainted with your kid's eyes: fear, disappointment, terror, disgust, resignation.
not too many invites to those family functions
you make someone a great punching bag

All very good reasons to give up drinking. I'm glad I found this.
