hey .everyone,, i need help
Omg!!!
I decided to review all of the posts that I have posted here on SR since I joined way back in December 2011. Honestly, I have tried and tried to stop drinking for years.
I was never good at it but at least I am tenacious. At least I keep trying and trying until I eventually get it right... LOL...
I honestly do not remember starting this thread entitled "hey .everyone,, i need help" ... seriously... That is frightening to me...
I am glad to say that I am 2 days away from my one month anniversary!
I really could not do it without the love, compassion, and support that I have received from SR.
To all my friends on SR...THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!

HappyHour - how did you know I have a soft spot for nutella. I am having it now on raisin toast!!
I’d like to wish all my SR friends that live in the Northern Hemisphere, "Happy Winter!" And to those who live in the Southern Hemisphere, “Happy Summer!"
I am so pleased to let you know that today I have achieved 4 consecutive sober months. And, I have lived through, and actually started to thrive, in my very first sober Autumn. Now, I can't wait to see what my very first sober Winter will bring!!

As I sit here reflecting on my four month journey, with humility and gratitude, I find myself contemplating on the kind responses I received when I originally posted this thread on July 29, 2013. They are truly touching:

And today I am so deeply relieved to be sober. Alcohol brought me misery, anxiety, depression, and wasted time. Sobriety is a Relief!!
Today, I am in control over my future and it feels great to write “my future” because I did not have a future until I completely stopped drinking.
My future began on my Day of Awakening, August 20, 2013, the very first day finally accepted the simple truth that I cannot have just one drink.
---
To all my SR comrades in arms, my brothers and sisters, I dedicate this song to you…
Put One Foot in Front of the Other - YouTube
(I like to change the lyrics from “one foot” to “one day”….)
---
I wish you ALL a joyous holiday season and an absolutely Fantabulous New Year!!!
Thank-you for being my friend!!!

Jeni26 “Hello. What's up? How can we help?”
Isaiah “Hi, FourSeasons. The SR cavalry's here. What can we do?”
Pamel “FourSeasons, don't give up. This is doable.”
GracieLou “Jump on in and tell us your troubles.”
Dee74 “Let us know whats going on 4seasons?”
Least “ to SR! I'm glad you joined us. ”
FreddyBear “Are you drinking right now?”
ImperfectlyMe “All ears !! Let us help”
I am so very, very grateful to SR.... a bunch of complete, anonymous strangers helping each other to achieve one mutually shared goal - a sober and happy life. I lean on YOU daily for strength, wisdom, and guidance. Because of YOU, and through your honesty and humility, I am sober today.Isaiah “Hi, FourSeasons. The SR cavalry's here. What can we do?”
