Day 3..still doing good..went to AA

First AA meeting this morning. Went really well and I was totally comfortable telling my story and discussing my concerns regarding what to expect on the road to recovery.

I'm doing much better than I thought I would! My only craving has been for cheeseburgers..lol

Met some very nice people--one lady will be taking me to various AA meetings in the area this week. I am so excited to make new friends and continue my journey of sobriety.

Congrats on day 3. I found day three the hardest on both my attempts to quit, so don't underestimate your fantastic achievement.

I have met some wonderful people in AA and it sounds like you have too.

Awesome. I am so glad you are doing good and making new sober friends. It is also very good news that you are taking to AA and enjoying it. A good attitude will make your recovery much easier.

Way to go on day 3. The people I have met at AA meetings have been very supportive. Keep believing in yourself.

Happy for you. I am also on day three. Feel good but scared. I went to AA last night and the support was incredible. There are so many people walking down the same road. Keep positive thoughts on how much better our lives will be. Stay strong
