Has anyone here ever had a seizure related to their drinking?
Never had a seizure but if it's anything like the mini strokes I had you never see it coming...I didn't even realise what had happened to me until I found I couldn't get up off the floor..
If you have any concerns, any fear that you're unwell or might be having a seizure or any other complication - see a Dr, now Nevar.
Hands down, that's the best advice anyone here can give you

I've never had a seizure due to drinking, but I am epileptic, and have had tonic-clonic seizures since my late teens.
It doesn't feel like anything. I instantly black-out, then wake up feeling incredibly groggy and very confused. Some people get warning signs; I've never had an 'aura.'

Well I drank 12 of those Fosters keg cans yesterday and I woke up surprisingly upbeat. But I still needed water.
So here I am drinking water all day at work and I look up "can a person drink too much water?" And apparently a person could go into a seizure after rehydrating too much.
Had me concerned is all. Head is a little foggy but that's it.

Alcohol withdrawal seizures are nothing to take lightly. Not only, like any seizure, is there a risk of injury (I may have broken my nose, last time) but those related to alcohol have a much, much higher risk of going into status. That's when seizures do not stop happening and without medical attention the heart and lungs can potentially stop.
Definitely should see a doctor if this is a concern. There are simple medications they often prescribe until withdrawal ends.
