I'm also a mother of 4 and can relate with your first post. 1 day of drinking = the next day in bed all day. Which I did today I'm so ashamed of myself. I feel like a bad mother and my kids deserve better. I really want to kick this. 10+ years of this ridiculous BS. I'm just so sick and tired of being me

You can fix this . I NEVER thought i could .i logged in here one day and it's saved my life .
For 5 months now , my children have had their mum back.
My relationship with my husband is wonderful. Thank god he stayed !

There are so many mums in here just like us and soooo much support .

I'm so thrilled that you have reached out . You can fix this , i promise...you sound sick n tired of being sick n tired also .

Your kids will love you for it and most of all you will love yourself for it.

Thanks SnoozyQ. I was a very active member on this forum years ago under another name. Strung some months together etc. But I just keep drinking. The longest amount of time I have been sober in the last 10+ years is when I've been pregnant. Unfortunately I cannot just stay pregnant. But those were the best months of my life. When I don't drink I feel great. Just don't know why I keep doing it. It's considerably less than this summer. I feel like I completley ruined my kid's summer break. We didn't do anything fun excpet go to the pool.

There's no shame in it . No one judges anyone on here , cos we all want the same thing .

You knoW YOU CAN do this .
It shows what a fantastic Mum you really are . You gave up whilst pregnant.Some of us cant fight it even being pregnant.

So you know you have the will power there when needed .

You sound like you have literally had a gutfull

You want help i know you can do this xx
