One day at a time...
 

To whomever it was that offered me this piece of advice when I first came here - thank you :tyou - today that has been invaluable. I'm on my eleventh day and I've really craved but holding that thought in my head, that just for today I won't has kept me from joining oh in an evening glass of wine.

Every success story, advice on other threads, it all helps me on this road and I'm very grateful to you all.

The words KEEP COMING, if we don't pick up the first drink we don't have to get sober again and Remember When are a few that helped me while in that withdrawal pain. BE WELL

Claryhen, fantastic going on day 11! One day at a time really helps to focus in the early days of recovery.

awesome to 11 days :) I live one day at a time also....I can do anything for 24 hours. And I never regret getting through another day sober. Keep it up!
