I felt so much better after getting through a year (all those triggers - holidays, etc.). You're doing great, and we're proud of you.

Wow thank you so much everyone!
I can't believe that at this time last year I didn't think I would beable to do this. I was a mess, my life was mess, and my daughter's hubby was ready to kick my ass to the curb cause my daughter was having a rough pregnancy and I was just causing her more stress.
I am one of those that truly had to change people, place and things. I needed a counselor to sit me down and tell me what to do. It has been hard, but the rewards and how good I feel are so worth it. It's a bit dauting to think that this will be a lifetime process, but this has just made me think that I really can do this. I most certainly don't want to go back to what was.
I know there are a lot people just starting out and are in pain, you can do this! We are all special, unique individuals who have a lot to offer and you all are worth saving.
This site also keeps me going since I found it in December. It truly is a very special place and I've never participated in any forum like this. We are all contected thru this bond and I'm thankful that you all are here.

BTW I have always loved your avatar but never found an appropriate time to mention it. While the dog leapfrogging the sheep is funny I quickly noticed the expression on the dog's face. It is the expression of being happy, joyous, and free!

3 hours left to celebrate in the US till midnight. Let's see how long we can prolong this. Is it yesterday somehwere haha! woohoo! I am enjoying this too! lol
