Friday night parties... not anymore!
My husband is out on the patio enjoying his beer and I am in the house feeling just fine about it. Friday nights used to be our "drinking heavily together" time. We would get crazy and consume way too much.
Here I am enjoying my water and Fritos (yum!) and not craving any of it. That, my friends, is a big accomplishment for me. I am extremely happy! 30 days on Monday. 30 days. Yay!

Hot nights out on the deck used to be my time to drink, smoke, snort, etc. It was like I was living in some strange dream. Tonight I took a walk out in the hot night air and it had the same feeling .... except for the fact that I'm sober and can actually fully take in the experience. Drugs and alcohol lie. We can enjoy the same things totally sober.

Isn't it great looking forward to waking up on Saturday morning without a hangover!
A whole weekend to enjoy sober, rather than recover enough to drink more.
