Hi Guys, sorry for the late check-in! Just reading through all of your posts and it sounds like everyone did pretty well this weekend and/or is back on the horse heading down the sober trail again.

I decided to go camping at the last minute with some people from my AA group and had a blast! Was hemming and hawing about it because camping is yet another thing I could not equate with anything but lots of beer. But, alas, on can camp sober! Imagine that crazy concept... We were in the beautiful Shenandoah Mountains of Virginia and it was lovely if hot as all get out.

Anyway, off to take a nap---those sober people stay up late

Ricky, eight days is awesome!!!! What's doin' today for you? All good?

you don't have to do this alone... there's strength in numbers

What a weekend........intersting to say the least . I didn't do anything spectacular except maybe survive day 9 . Workin day 10. There's still lots to do , but with this run I'm gaining confidence

Thanks Weekenders

Well, my weekend was pretty challenging. Rode out some strong cravings last night. Over the weekend I had several tough conversations with my sponsor that needed to happen. Went to a meeting with her this evening and shared. Now home and happy. Day 14 today.

This was the first weekend I've had sober in probably four years (when I had my daughter). I'm honestly in shock that I made it the whole weekend. I feel lucky, and peaceful, and so grateful I didn't make any of my old excused. Bring on another week!

i don't know exactly, i think it is a system that redirects water seepage? but the house no longer takes water in the basement. we had over 11 inches of rain this last month..basement stays dry. sump pump doesnt even need to kick on.

The end of the w/e

Another sober weekend comes to an end. While I managed to stay on track, I have an empty feeling tonight that I hope will not interfere with a good nights sleep.

Peace and Harmony to all. Goodnight.

ready here for a busy workday. Weekend and trip were fun.

Hope you all had a good sober weekend.

If you did not (non) then today offers another opportunity to treat ourselves right.

Decided to extend my weekend by a day to get some things done around the house. We are having 7 house guests this week, and they all need to get squoze in here.
