I've tried quitting before a few times. I've even gone to the doctor who gave me something. I'm just looking at it as baby steps... one has to fall a few times before walking. I will not look at this from a negative... this is for my family, my job, my life! Heck yes!!! SOBRIETY FOR THE WIN!! :a122:

God will help you, all you need to do is ask. I've tried and failed so many times it's a wonder I'm even alive.
I asked God for help and now receive a daily reprieve from severe alcoholism. I was a bad drunk.
It's been two and a half years now, and I've realized if I don't take that first drink, I won't get drunk.

I hope you don't get me wrong, I'm not a Bible thumper. I'm just relating my what happened to me when I truely asked for help.
You'll find a lot of support here, with peolple who have quit in different ways.
