My 4 year old son waking up about 4am this morning to go pee, still in a sleep daze saying "Dad, are we in meatball heaven?" I just lost it and couldn't help but laugh. Beautiful and cute. Usually I am to passed out to have helped. Cherishing these moments.

Ya know. I love this thread. I wasnt TO tempted today or anything but just feeling kind of...racey( does that make sense lol) this has helped. Thanks OP. Also, cutting the grass on this beautiful fall day. Enjoying the smell of fresh cut grass. I really wish they made a candle with that scent.

Enjoying a gorgeous plate of Thai Food. Watching my dog as she darts in and out of a forest on a lovely fall walk.

My 12 year old cat darting through the house and chasing his tail like he's a kitten again
My daughter's giggle fit when she thought she might be pulling one over on me

My simple thing today was picking half my lunch salad out of the garden before work.

Watching the kids from the grade school down the street. They must have had their Halloween party today, because the street was full of little Witches, Tin Men, Hobos and Princesses, all excited and laughing, running with their bags of candy.

My dog's joyous greeting when I got home today.

Hearing my little one say, "shall we?" and singing the story of the five little pumpkins together.

Lighting our own pumpkins for the first time. Kiddo said that the pumpkin with the face was talking. We asked what it was saying and kiddo responded, "it's saying, 'Hi [kiddo's name]!!!!'"

1. Being excited waiting for my son to come home from school (instead of anxious that someone will call me out for being intoxicated)

2. Geting into bed sober

Saw someone in the mirror that looks a lot less tired than the guy who was in the mirror a few months back.

On my way to work the sides of the road are blanketed with a beautiful orange and red and gold of the fallen leaves. I think October might be one of my favorites.

Little cat paws that reach out to grab you from under the bed as you walk by.
