thanks. just having a nose now. i know i'm going to find it so hard. my life revolves around alcohol and i'm really not sure how to stop it. drastically cutting down would be a huge improvement but i would like to become abstinent one day. Fingers crossed xx

Welcome. Besides reading a lot of posts I'll suggest not doing what I did which resulted in a lot of pain and damage: Procrastination. In other words jump in quickly. Long range sobriety is accomplished by not picking up one drink for one day at a time, simple but not always easy. keep coming. BE WELL

Yeah, I know how you feel. However, I could never drink moderately and I tried many, many times.
My drinking got progressively worse, too. It's the nature of the malady.
Glad you're here, and please keep reading and posting.

Best to you.
