Eat Love Pray?

Okay...on my little solo fortnight away from my regular reality..I am EATING my way through the interior of beautiful British Columbia!

I took myself out for a very posh dinner tonight where I had perhaps one of the best meals of my life...started with some sort of fabulous bread with a garlic and red lentil hummus/balsamic glaze for dippin which was followed up with the best beef tenderloin, some especially fabulous mashed potato concoction...ever.....and some crystal clear water... I was too full for dessert...but after coming back to hotel and posting on SR awhile...I figured I needed something sweet. Went next door for coffee and cheesecake. Yummy.

I got the love from SR.

And the great graceful benevolent energy I believe in as my co-pilot.

I think I've gained 10 pounds..but ah well, I'm sober!

That sounds great. My hangover today was/is so bad I only had soup. I am going to treat myself more while I start over.

Sounds delish!! I let myself indulge in food more now that I am sober. I was barely eating when I was out there so the 10 I gained after quitting was good for me :) I am so happy to hear you are doing well, I was thinking about you earlier and wondering how the trip was going.

Nuudawn......... The meal sounds heavenly.
Sleep well. Congrats on making it through the festival. Your doing wonderful.

I think I actually drooled reading your post!

You are lucky you are in the interior. I'm stuck here in Slurrey. Maybe I will win the PNE house and then I can move!

The PNE!! I'm so excited. I haven't been in years..but going this year. Since sobering up I realize I'm about 13 or 14 emotionally...so wooden rollercoaster here I come!
If ever in Salmon Arm...go to "Shuswap Chefs"...spectacular food. Service..meh (probably ignored me a tad cuz I wasn't drinking)

Great going nuudawn!

All of a sudden my boiled egg doesn't look so appealing. Hmmm.

Desperate urge for a big steak now after reading your post! Still could be worse, the urge could be wine! Mr Pinot and his lady Ms Grigio havent been around my house in nearly two weeks, they arent welcome :)
