Thank you all so much for your replies. Today I'm feeling good, still sober and planning on keeping it that way at this party tonight. I know some have advised to avoid the party and I appreciate that but I really want to go.

Thanks to all your great advice, I've got some great strategies in place to keep me strong and help me out if I start to wobble.

If I manage to pull this off AND have a nice time I think it will do my confidence the world of good. It will mean I actually can socialise without a drink and even more than that, knowing that I have SR by my side and that I intend to be posting to all you guys tomorrow, sober, keeps me very focussed.

Keep your strategies colse, and don't listen to the bad voice and you'll do great! I've survived two parties and I feel good about it. Yes, it builds confidence for sure.
