Day 10 landmark

Got to day 10. Couldn't have done it with you guys! Not loved the second week mood swings. Maybe I thought withdrawal would be quicker than it is !!

That is amazing Pete!

Well done.
Do you prefer your life this way now?
Do you feel more focused and clearer? Has anyone noticed at work the change in you?

Just think in four days you will have done a fortnight.

Thats half a month.
If you keep on trucking as you are, you will soon have a whole month!

My best to you
xx

Everything is clearer. No hangovers is amazing. Wrk haven't noticed anything as I'm still by quiet whilst trying to deal with the effects but I know that will change. Can't wait to hit the month mark! Lets do it together apop!

Great job on day 10! Glad you're better. I'm day 2...barely starting but feeling very excited about my future. No ill effects yet. Just intermittent anxiety that I'm able to talk and meditate through. Any advice out there?

My best Advice would to be to keep coming on here! I feel prouder telling my friends on here then my friends around me, as you all know how hard it is to get through whereas most people don't understand! Thankyou SR! Never give up. A sober life is more fun and exciting than a life filled with drink and addiction

So true...

As for anxiety etc, I just came through a period of depression that was mostly environmental (work, natch) and a friend recommended vitamin B complex. I cannot recommend it enough. Two days after starting it I was bouncing around like my old idiot self.

I mean, it's not a cure-all (I got drunk a few days later for the first time in half a year - agghh!!) but it can be a massive help.

Good luck lovelies xxx
