THATS FANTASTIC !!! Please please tell me what you did, if anything, to celebrate. This means alot to me because my 50th is this month and I am trying to formulate a plan on how to celebrate and yet not drink

Well, I woke up at 530 and went kayaking on the beach, which was amazing. I spent much of the day self reflecting and talking out loud to myself. Kinda weird but it helped me clear my thoughts saying them out loud. I realized how amazing the last month of my life has been and how a drunken night out with friends cannot compare to the bliss I truly feel inside now that alcohol is no longer apart of my life. Then I went out for sushi with my brother and laughed for two hours straight and ate so much I want to barf. And I couldn't be happier.

OOOOHHHHHH !!! Sushi !!! Man, way too many people dont know the incredible joy of sushi, LOL Your day sounds fantastic and its just the inspiration that I needed. Happy Birthday to you and may the new year find you fast in your sobriety and quiet reflection. I really appreciate you sharing your day with me, Thank you
