that's great

AA meetings have helped me to understand that I'm alcoholic

even though I have over 5 years sober now

I usually still attend 2 to 4 meetings a week

helps to remind me of how it was

plus - maybe I can be of help to a newcomer ?

Thanks everyone :) I feel more positive after leaving than I have in a very long time. It's an awesome feeling. It feels good to take one day at a time. A great mix of people too and all very welcoming

I'm glad you had a positive experience.

Emotionally drained is sometimes good, it means you've gotten some of those negative emotions out of your head! Glad to read that you liked your first meeting. :)
