Cool On holiday

Hi. I've been in recovery for 14 years now but still find resisting alcohol a challenge. A couple of minor slips in the last 6 months but fortunately nothing to disrupt my sobriety except what is in my head & that's enough.
On holiday for 10 days now in Cyprus and have managed to resist for the duration. I hope to continue this progress taking one day as it comes, not projecting, staying calm and content.

Hello.

Oh, so you're in Cyprus. (I'm not by any means stiffling my envy.)

There isn't a slip when progress continues.

I am back home now and grateful I managed to resist temptations of alcohol to have a relaxing time without stress and needing to find a "release" that would be eventually certain death.
