i was looking into celebrate recovery, but the nearest one is about 40 miles from my home. i also work in the court system and have too much pride to go to AA since i'll probably see the pepl i see in court all the time. i'm not sure what to do, but i want to give this forum a "go"....

I'm glad you found us. There's plenty of support and help here.
It sounds like you're tired of that sick old life - and ready to get free. I drank for almost 30 yrs. When I found SR it was such a relief to not be alone anymore. I hope you'll feel the same. The people here helped me sober up and stay that way. You can do it too.
