4 months sans Alcohol!

Today is my 4th month with no Alcohol. Nada, nothing, zilch. I am moving farther away from my last drink, and for this I am grateful. I am also grateful for my last drink, because I am sober. Thank you SR.
Life is better without Alcohol. My kidneys do not hurt. I do not have to TRY to moderate my drinking. I have no apologies to make. I have money that goes to other things. I am more reasonable. No hangovers. No arguing with spouse. I am making A's in all my classes.
This time around is more meaningful, and less confusing!
I think I will continue down this road!

Mizzuno,

You are an example of where I want to be. I too am married and in school (and working) . My grades have hurt due to drinking and so has work and marriage. Grats on your extended success!

Ya, the head straight thing was hard. I was insane for a better part of MY WHOLE LIFE! I am now halfway to sanity. Halfway seems appropriate, and I think I will stay here for awhile. I wouldnt want to lose my genius capabilities~!
