Day 6 for me too Pete (that's one of my dog's names!!).

I agree about the absence of a hangover. Spoke to my friend earlier who is dying having been out till 4.30. Really glad it's not me!

This is one of the best things about not drinking- No feeling terrible all day. No regrets to remember. Money in my pocket. In other words no hangover hell to contend with!

re-discovering weekend mornings has been a gift from my sobriety .

Once the physical effects of alcohell pass in the first couple of weeks they are just so comfy and snuggly .

Thanks for reminding me how they used to be hungover and how great they are now Pete , Stay strong ,

Bestwishes, m

Well done Pete! Day 5 for me. I agree it's been the best weekend I have had in a long time. No dry heaving, no headache and no panicky feelings. Boy does it feel great. A lot better that two bottles of wine did😀

Thanks guys. Successfully replacing the cravings with tango and the gym. Strange combo! Night 6 no sleepy syndrome now though!

Congrats I can't wait until next week for my first "no hangover Sunday morning". And going to the gym no less, that is brilliant.

I was up at 6 and did a 120km ride on my bike and home again before noon.

We rock Sunday mornings!

I was lucky and didn't get much of a hangover, just my hands shaking and a very clouded head. Took an hour walk this morning and it felt great. 7th day!

Nothing beats the gym! Used to be a gym bunny until alcohol took over. I CANNOT wait I have got past withdrawal and get back into the running and weights!

I love it too. I still will find myself in the gym on a Sunday morning and marvel at how far I have come and just hot much has changed due to me no longer drinking. I used to miss Sundays due to being bed ridden with horrible anxiety and hangovers. I do NOT miss that feeling at all. Congrats on your 6 days!!!

I definately don't miss the hangovers - the headache, throwing up and horrible shakes.
