Thought today would be hard...
 

I went to a big family cookout today. I was expecting it to be a tough day as there was plenty of beer and wine flowing.

But I when I saw my cousin, who is also an alcoholic, I had no desire. He looked absolutely terrible! He is a good few years younger than me in his mid 30's, and it looks like he had been to Hell and back! I felt that 2 months ago, I likely looked as bad, and do NOT want to go back to that.

The rest of the day was nice, and I wound up having no cravings at all:-)

I hope my cousin gets help soon.

Anyway, my vacation is almost over, and so happy for my sobriety!
