How quick our minds forget
It's funny I have just driven 8 hours in the car for a trip and a soon as I arrived the urge for a drink came over me. I've been sober a week working aa every night really starting to get into a good place with the drinking.
It's funny I quit drinking because I started cutting myself during blackout and I am sure I will do something worse if I had continued on my drinking ways.
That being said the thought came into my hard you know you can have a few drinks you deserve it you've had a hard day today. But I know if I start I don't know when or if I could stop.
It's not worth it but it shows me that I will always be on guard for this cunning baffling disease that lays in wait to come over me.
Don't belive what it tells you is all I can say.
No matter what it says just for today I'm going to stay sober.
