NINE Months Today!
I am out of town, so I am not getting my chip, my green, grass-has-grown-back-between-my-house-and-the-liquor-store-chip, but I will get it when I return home.
I just wanted to stop in and share with you guys because ya'll are a HUGE part of my sobriety.
Incidentally, liquor drinking has been a part of this trip (not for me!) but I have been around a lot of drinking and my solution has been to go to bed early and just not be around it past a certain time. Works for me!
If you happen to be newly sober reading this, stick with it! If I can be sober, so can you!!!! I thought I was a hopeless case.

Congrats! Nine months is awesome!!! I remember you from a while back and we are close in how long we have been sober (coming up on 8 months) so I'm glad you're hanging in there too. It's difficult some days but its worth it. Keep it up!
