All the hungover posts on Facebook this morning.....and it's only a little after 10 here so I'm sure more are coming when a few more wake up.

I am SO glad it's not me!! The only hangover here is my poor kitchen but she'll be sparkling shortly! :)

Ha! I will have to look on FB. I would NEVER post that I had a hangover on there! LOL. People were sure posting their plans for drinking yesterday.

I feel so bad laughing at another person's misery. Even worse that I looked forward to this when I was sitting yesterday thinking of all the parties that I wasn't attending.

In reality what I hope is that of all those who are lamenting that at least one of them finds the answer that they've been looking for and comes out of the fog a better person.

Well in the case of the people I'm talking about I don't think any of them are looking for answers. They had a holiday, drank to much and are paying for it today.

I do have one friend though that I wish would find his way here. He posted a pic of himself and his son the other day (one of maybe 2 or 3 I've ever seen that he didn't have a drink in his hand) and you can just see it in his face. I grew up with him, he was the boy I wanted to marry when I was 7 LOL. I said wow where is the guy I once knew, if he's still there he's buried deep. :( He never posts about his hangovers because I'm sure it's a part of daily life for him.

I am at my alcoholic friend's home and he has the hangover of the century. It's all it takes for me not to switch into AA 12 stepping mode and tell him:
"You never have to feel that way again" and "There is a solution".
Me keeping my mouth shut is not so much because I work such a great Al Anon program but that he is so miserable, he would probably throw an empty beer can at me if I said "I told you so" :rotfxko
