Recovery and Illness
Hello! I found out Saturday I have pnemonia. I've been fighting what I thought was a cold for weeks and finally went to the doctor when my Brother found out he had pnemonia. I'm told to rest, rest, rest. I don't do well in isolation and am going nuts! Staying positive, gratitude lists...all that good stuff. Been surfing this site a lot and that really helps! I miss my meetings though. I have been reaching out to friends in AA on the phone. It just is not a good thing to be sick and trying to stay in recovery. Not that I would want to drink on all these meds! Just wanted to share. I will have 30 days on Sunday. Maybe God had this planned for me to be ill the past few weeks to help me get to where I am...ONE DAY AT A TIME!! Hugs and best to you all!! Happy 4rh of July eve!
