The beauty of it is...supporting others, supports our sobriety. So glad you're hanging in there Pete. You know the day you decide to drop the bottle is a difficult day..but it's a FANTASTIC day. In essence is the very best day in your sobriety : )
For me the idea is to pay on what was given freely to me by others
You're one of a special bunch of people who have something bigger in their lives than the material things of the world, for better or for worse . I have brothers and sisters in recovery all around the world, we're held together by a common bond .
Bestwishes, m

I took it as a way to keep my mind active. Even through the negative feelings and the fact nobody at works knows my situation and keeps going on about me being miserable , but that's better than everyone knowing my problem. I wasn't too discrete with my name as its pretty much my full name!
I have decided that i am going to save all the money i would have spent on alcohol and put it into a pot this month. I think il be shocked to see how much i have to spend. Maybe enough to buy a nice new watch of something. early doors though as im only on day 5!
