I am overwhelmed by how much support everyone is giving. I hope to repay the favour soon. |
The beauty of it is...supporting others, supports our sobriety. So glad you're hanging in there Pete. You know the day you decide to drop the bottle is a difficult day..but it's a FANTASTIC day. In essence is the very best day in your sobriety : ) |
For me the idea is to pay on what was given freely to me by others :) You're one of a special bunch of people who have something bigger in their lives than the material things of the world, for better or for worse :) . I have brothers and sisters in recovery all around the world, we're held together by a common bond . Bestwishes, m |
Day 3 guys, and i actually have a smile on my face :) |
Glad to hear it :) Was well impressed you made it into work after your boss' "intervention". What a *******! x |
Cool name btw :D |
I took it as a way to keep my mind active. Even through the negative feelings and the fact nobody at works knows my situation and keeps going on about me being miserable , but that's better than everyone knowing my problem. I wasn't too discrete with my name as its pretty much my full name! |
Day 3 is awesome! Welcome to SR this site is wonderful. |
Well day 4 has gone better than I thought with a lot less problems than expected. Not craved a drink. Hope i can keep this up. |
You can keep it up. Think about what you are gaining! You'll soon stop looking miserable and gaining a clear functioning brain. Think about what you are saving on paracetamol! |
I have decided that i am going to save all the money i would have spent on alcohol and put it into a pot this month. I think il be shocked to see how much i have to spend. Maybe enough to buy a nice new watch of something. early doors though as im only on day 5! |
You have gone quiet. How is it going? Why not join the class of July 2013. |
