Day 2 - Sober
 

Well I got through yesterday, woke up drenched in sweat today. Feeling just the teeniest bit proud of myself...........

You should feel proud. You are doing such a great job! Keep it up. We here at SR are here for you!!! We all have had our beginning days of sobriety and or getting clean. For encouragement when you need it ...POST or even go through other peoples posts here on SR and see where they used to be and where they are today! Those success stories will be your's too! This is not just another chapter in your story ...YOU ARE WRITING AN ENTIRE NEW VOLUME!

It gets better with time in my experience DS ,

The 1st week i took a lot of showers and changed the bed lot's, wrapped the pillow in a towel ( a bit cooler on my head) :)

On day 2 :You_Rock_

good for you DS77, you should feel AMAZING! and dont worry about the sweating.. it will start to calm down after a while. i was a terrible sweater whilst drinking and worse in the first 2 weeks of my sobriety (to the point you could ring wring me out and it could fill a lake) Keep going dude, see you on day 3 :)

Don't feel the "teeniest" bit proud! Be VERY proud!
