One month today :)
 

well, i have been a month sober today. i cant actually believe ive managed it this far. been a bit of a struggle but im getting there, very proud of myself :)

thanks guys, im feeling good, been able to go on nights out on just soft drinks now. im so lucky that i have very supportive friends and that i havent lost my social circle in the process (which was one of my biggest worries) i am however getting extremely sleepy, not sure if this is to do with quitting or not??

I got the sleepy feeling too. Some days I was so tired I was not sure I would make it through the day.

When I get that way now I think of HALT. Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired. They can be triggers and I stop or HALT and think of why I am feeling this way.

Tired is just that, you are tired. It is your system telling you that you need more rest or sleep. For me these feelings can drop my defenses or my resolve.

Congratulations on your 1 month!!!!!!!!! Keep it up and you should be proud of yourself. Huge accomplishment! Proud of you!
