27th 28th 29th june 2013 weekender
Yeah, sorry if the pic is disturbing. I didn't have time to make a proper post this morning. Just wanted to quickly express my enthusiasm, but I think it's a bit much.
This weekend...
I'll get off work in about an hour. I was scheduled for a day off, but decided to work half a day so I didn't have to burn vacation time for Wednesday morning when I tood Mrs Non to the doctor.
Grocery shopping after work today. Gotta stock up because Mama Non (my mother) is coming to visit from Sunday - Friday. Yay!
Saturday I'll build something. This is like the 4th weekend in a row I have been planning to finish the trim in a room we remodeled. Hope to get that done - finally!
I'm also rebuilding the website for my Civic League. Hope to get that finished, too.
Have great sober weekends! Let's do this!

M66.... That's awesome. Have fun with your brother.
......
Really grateful for this weekend. Last weekend bothers me a lot but I did not let it get to me. Had a really productive week. The trip should be fun.
Sounds like everyone is doing well.

This will be my first sober weekend (again) but I'm really excited about it. World War Z tonight with my wife for a date, tomorrow yard work in the a.m., zoo, then a little kid birthday party, then an adult birthday party...I'll be driving and we're only staying for an hour or so in the earlier evening (leaving before it gets wild). Sunday church, potluck, and fixing the chicken coop. And certainly a dip in the pool. Enjoy your weekend everyone.
Hi all, joining in here for a sober weekend. Had 48 days and blew it last Sat. Sigh. Weekends are hard for me, but I've done it before so I know I can do it again. Need to stick close to SR and this thread. Thanks, everyone, for being here!
Those nice folks at the grocery store had already started a cart for me when I got there. I must be a VIP, or something. Unfortunately, I can't really eat any of the stuff in it, so I had to fill a new one from scratch.
Shopping. Is. Done.

Stay Sober Weekened 29th - 30th June
Good morning all
It's the weekend and I'm not as busy as last weekend so plan to check into SR a lot for support. Day 23 for me today. That's why I've started the weekend thread as I've found the previous ones invaluable - thanks guys!
Have a few errands to run and a birthday tea for my 5 year old niece today and tomorrow I pan to go the whole day without make-up :-) I've not been able to due to the scars / bruises etc on my face from when I broke my nose etc 24 days ago. Looking forward to fresh air on my skin.
We need to completely clear the living room tomorrow ahead of the decorators coming in on Monday so that will involve a lot of pointing from me (fractured wrist) whilst my hubby and teenage son do the real work - very excited about the new project going ahead and already working in ideas for the bathroom renovation afterwards.
What are you all up too?
I won't be drinking this weekend.

Cool, thanks Dee.
Check the time stamp. You can tell I stayed sober If I am posting at 0500 and I can report that I am well rested. I was asleep by 1000 on a Friday evening. Maybe I should change my name to Party Animal?
Mrs. Non's left foot is getting better. She is having a much easier time getting around as a result. (She broke the left one and shattered the right one three weeks ago today.) She will likely run me ragged today. My mother is coming for a visit, and Mrs. Non will want the house presentable. She can't do any of it herself, but she can SEE everything that she wants done. I should probably go meditate and get into the right frame of mind.
Keep it sober, Friends. We're doing this!
