Day 5
Day 5
It's been 5 days since my last relapse on my ADHD medication, after that I decided that I was done with Adderall for good. Even though it helps me more than anything else it's just far too tempting to have those pills in the house, I ALWAYS end up abusing them.
It's been 3 days since my last therapeutic dose of 40mg Adderall XR and I honestly feel like ****. No motivation, can't sit still, can't focus, I'm always tired, but it's a hell of a lot better than being all tweaked out, not sleeping or eating for days.
I've also started taking natural supplements to help ease the withdrawl and ADHD symptoms. I've been taking various amino acids, B-vitamins, Fish oil, GABA, Glycine, and Valarian Root. And they do help a little but only so much.
I also went back to my original sponsor, since my new sponsor isn't really working out so hopefully I'll continue to move forward.
That's where im at.

Hang in there! I know getting off that stuff is hard, I used them too at one point and loved them until they turned on me! Withdraws suck but each day you get will take you mentally and physically further from the addiction and you will start to feel much better as you get to 30, 60, and 90 days. Don't give up before then! You can do this!
