The FRUITS of sobriety
 

I have been working two jobs- my one in retail at a beauty store and this job as an admin that has been temporary to see if they like me and if it will work out.

Well, THEY LIKE ME!!! I am turning in my notice today at the beauty store.

I say all of this because: if I was not sober I would not have any job. I would not be driving, have a car, be in school, my marriage would not be mending, trust would not be happening, nothing- it is ALL BECAUSE I AM SOBER.

It took time for these things to happen- I will have nine months in two weeks, but if you think about it, that is not so long for all of these good things to happen.

I want to say to all of those that have a few days sober- HANG IN THERE!!!!!
It does get better- if you work it.

Great reminder that life does change in many positive aspects when we become sober; great post!

Well done Elizabeth. Ew inspires me to continue. I've certainly experienced good things in past few months, and look forward to further progress. Best wishes on new permanent position :)
