Day 3 - I'm doing great!

Well, what can I say? My first sober weekend in years! Very proud of myself for resisting lots of temptation. My life as a single mummy with 6 children can be quite stressful and I've had to deal with some tough stuff this weekend but I have done it all without giving in to the wine bottles. I'm feeling a little rough physically and I look like crap but it is an absolute joy to be going about my day without a stinking hangover. I'm dealing with this one day at a time, this site is brilliant, it's my only support as I can't go to meetings but all the support and tools I need for now are here. Thanks SR - I'm so glad I found you!

My appetite is returning too! I actually had breakfast at breakfast time today! I'm feeling very positive, it's also great to wake up guilt-free, something I can't take for granted.
