day 14 check in, would never have thought it :)
day 14 without a drink. would never thought i would have got this far. beating all the cravings so far. has to be by far the longest ive been without a drink for at least 7 years may have now got a slight addiction to fizzy pop now though. getting through lemonade and pepsi like theres no tomorrow. on the plus side though ive lost nearly 5 pounds in weight since stopping, and now sleeping near enough properly at night. feeling the benefits. thank you all for your ongoing support
That is wonderful! 14 days is a real accomplishment!
I don't care for Pepsi but I am hung on Coke Zero. I get the sweet I crave without the calories but I still need my chocolate at least once a day. I have lost weight too. 16 pounds so far.
Keep it up!

That's great that you've hit the two-week mark. Congratulations
An idea is to swap the fizzy for green or herbal tea. It's worked for me in the past.. though so far in my recovery I am back to downing the soda like crazy lol!

Great job on 2 weeks!!!
Please, get rid of the new soda habit!! Sugar is as addictive as alcohol. You don't want to switch one addiction for the other.....I understand in the beginning it is worlds better than taking a drink but make sure to find an alternative soon. Coffee and Tea have great tastes and are health beneficial. Good old fashioned water is a great alternative it really does a body good.
