There's one thing I know - everyday we don;t use is a good day, and gets us closer to where we want to be...somedays that's really hard but those are the days we need to pull our all the stops.
focus on the long term Riky, not the short term.

Please keep going to meetings when you can. Just the same as we AA-ers say "one day at a time" in regards to not picking up a drink today, it also applies to going to meetings. Don't worry about the future, work on today.
Also, hopefully your family will understand that you are going to need to take time for your recovery.
Action, not excuses. I wholeheartedly endorse the AA program, it's amazing. You're still in early days, try a different sponsor, but please try to make meetings.
