I saw them a few more times than that, and was never sober I had an opportunity to see "The Dead" here in Pittsburgh two years ago sober, however I was convinced it was something I couldn't do. Love to have the chance again....hopefully I will. I look forward to both of us being on day 5!
Way to go!!!!
Only saw them once as I was still in HS in 95 but I did get to see the set with Steve miller in NYC. But saw lots and lots of Phil lesh and friends they were always in my college town.
Keep up the great work and keep updating us August

I didn't think I ever had cravings when I was drinking, but that is attributed to the fact that if I thought about drinking, I just did.
My first few days sober were hellish, not in the sense of WD's because luckily I wasn't that far down the hole, but the cravings were neverending.
I'm taking LOTS of L-Glutamine, and it helps, tremendously, imo. Cheap too. I got 3 bottles of 100 from a reputable supplement store for less than $10. Might give that a try.
We're pulling for ya

I had 17 days up until I visited my Home Town Got w\ the old crew and it was downhill from there .. Sadly I knew it too ( I just got so much going on now; I knew there was no way I would say no I binged HARD; burned a ton of bridges and now digging out seems impossible, hence the "urge" is strong .. But I know it ain't gonna help .. All it will do is add fuel to the fires that are already burning for me ... So I know I won't; nor can I drink ..
