Back Again :D
Well I did it... only way I could get help with detox had to be planned, but I did it. I was gone 4 days basically in a inpatient program, and today is the 5th day. So I am 5 days clean and sober.
Just thought I would let others know. I am on meds they prescribed, and will be tapering off larazopam / ativan (sp?) (benzos) for the next 5 days. After that I will be taking the prescribed anti-depressants and anti-psychotics they gave me.
Honestly during those 4 days I did not care about not having a drink, nor did I care that I just have to give it up completely. I am hoping I can continue on with this mind-set, but honestly I felt the best I ever had for a while during these days.

I am realizing, it is and was a waste of time and energy. I hope also I can stay on this path, and currently plan on sticking with it.

Right now it is to go to my mental health appointment, and currently just to not drink. May and probably will be looking into finding a support group... either it be AA or a Support group with people who suffer from depression and substance abuse. But as said... my current plan is to just not drink.
