hi all!

hiya this is my 2nd attempt and I have done considerably better than the first time. 22 days today without an alcoholic drink.

I don't feel any better for it, but, I don't feel any worse either.

I was on a ATR programme until February 14th, but I didn't find it helped one little bit, I'm not a huge fan of groups anyway, and all it seemed to do was make me want a drink more.

but now, I feel ready to stop this time.

:-)

Congrats. This is a great place for support. What is an ATR programme?

ATR = Alcohol treatment requirement, it was a court order.

Congrats and welcome back on the "wagon". It takes some time to start feeling better after quitting drinking. Usually around 3 moths and you will most likely start to see some positive changes and start to feel better. Then it just gets better and better after that. Of course, there will be a few bumps on the road, but thats life.
