At the ER

The pain in my chest has gotten so bad. Nothing is helping. Freaking out as to what it is and what they might give me

Is your AV excited that you got prescribed it? If so, then you know what you should do.

ER: Their DR speciality is to stabilize whatever is happening with a patient, not to manage long term addictions. You need to own & bring that long term perspective to the conversation.

Hope you feel better. You're in the best place if things turn south.

Check with your usual Dr if you have any medical questions MLC.

Whatever it endone is, I think that you should not take it.

Just looked it up. MLC, taking the endone could cause all of this hard work to go down the drain. Tell the docs that you are a recovering addict.

Yep I was honest about being an addict not long out of detox.

Endone is oxy. And yeah I guess my av got excited but I'm more scared.

No tests. They said I'm going to have the pain until I get this lump removed. My doc will do the referral tomorrow.

If I take one is it a relapse? I can't stand the pain.

To get rid of the pain. I've taken so many ibuprofen tablets today and they are doing nothing. I'm not allowed to have paracetamol.

I don't know what type of pain you're in. For me tooth pain is the worst but I still wouldn't take a glass of wine if that was the temporary solution. I would just get it pulled out. I am not being harsh here but this could set you back in so many ways.
