Red face one month sober/ newbie

Hi! Its great to find a site with so many active users. Im one month sober, currently on suboxone maintenance. I had issues with alcohol, cocaine, oxy, pot, and benzos. My main thing was sniffing perks. Now i am on meds for my addiction and depression and in active therapy and i am so grateful my life is now so much brighter.

This is such a true statement. Each day and each week can be a tough battle but through it all life becomes, bit by bit, brighter. It's only been a little over two months for me and at times it's very difficult .... but I can tell already that it's worth the effort.

Hang in there and thank you for posting.

I have come online because most of the na meetings in my area are at night and as im single momma its pretty tuff to get a sitter over here so i can go. So i guess this is good for now. I really would like to actually meet other people in recovery.

Welcome, this is a great place to get support at any time during the day or night. I like it here and I find it helpful, even after 2 years of sobriety. I hope you find a lot of info and help on here.
