update

I posted here over nine months ago...hurting more than I thought possible, hungover and most of all scared. Of everything. My responsibilities, other people, life in general I suppose.
I have not had a drink since then. Posters here gave me encouragement and hope...and I am truly grateful. I am in AA and it is working...JFT. My life is different in ways I could not have imagined...I am no longer scared of life. I have met people in AA who have turned their lives around in ways that are frankly incredible. There is another way. I lurk here all the time..you are all amazing!!

. my own personal mantra is now ' life can be rubbish...however it is infinitely more rubbish with a hangover'
