What are your Clean and Sober plans for the weekend? Let us know!

Going To Orlando to see my 22 Yr old son. May go to a meeting at The homeless coalition if I can find it again. Best meeting I ever went too. Always makes me grateful for what I have when I leave. Gives me a fresh perspective. And it lets me know what true humility really is. Last time I went I was the only women in a room of 50 men. These men were at the bottom rung of the ladder of life, yet they were so happy and grateful for their sobriety, Their Highpower, Their cots and their food. That could be me and I realized that if it was me I would be ok. Kindest souls I ever met! I was blessed that day.

Hanging around the house, doing housework, yard chores and the like. Going to have a sober cookout Monday with another non-drinker.

Deeker, I went to Gulf High in new port richey. Enjoy the heat.

Long walks, clean the cottage, job search activities, and in between it all read The Lost Weekend.

Tomorrow I will be refelting a shed roof. Can't say it's going to be great fun.

Spent today at our local monastery - that is always rejuvenating..

How does one go about spending time at a monastery? I'm really interested

I'm working through the accumulation of junk in the basement getting rid of so much. The thing that scares me is the number of beer bottles, wine bottles, and various paraphernalia I keep finding stashed in various places in the basement. I think I'm part squirrel. Later we're going to cook dinner and watch a movie.

That's giving back what you got! Love that. I'm @ home, hopefully find some 1 to take me to work tonite, won't make a mtg today but I pray tomm I will.
Instead of feeling sorry for myself, I'll thank the good Lord for the men & women who gave their all by laying down their lives for this great country that has the freedom it has today. Have a great memorial day wknd everyone!!!

going to see if i can get my grill working, it cut out on me last september, i have some backyard cleaning to do. house cleaning so i guess there is plenty for me to accomplish this weekend. for me, its not really a holiday weekend, its more of a chance to take a little me time and get some things done to be proud of.

I need to do some extra work on my yard and make the roadside look nice, since we live next to a cemetery and Memorial Day is a big holiday.

I just tried to fix my grill, but was not successful. So I guess dinner gets cooked in the oven...

How fun! I had a candlelight meeting last night. We have bonfire meetings here in Florida 3x a week. Kick ball game and picnic Monday with the NA fellowship.

Had a BBQ with my good friend and watched a concert DVD tonight. Cleaning the house and doing some yard work tomorrow. Going to a concert tomorrow night.

Music is such a great distraction! Although hanging out with a bldg full of people drinking and smoking pot is definitely a test... it's a test that I can pass!

Happy Memorial Day w/e to all of you!

Finished up my final paper for class today!! School starts again on Tuesday. We will be cleaning out my step-sons room tomorrow. He will be arriving in a few weeks for the summer. I am thrilled. We re-upholstered the Cat tree. My fur family members are very happy. They sat on the deconstructed Condo the whole time wondering what was taking place. Now, they are on their individual perches sleeping. I have been busy. I hope everyone has a safe weekend!

Just had a steak on the grill with family. Yummy but Sometimes family can be a bit to much. Taking a littler breather for my sanity. Then going in recharged in 15 minutes.
