After a little more than 3 weeks sobriety, it feels like things are just kind of falling into place for me. My health is back on track, my relationships with husband and daughter are better, and even finances are better. We were always broke when I was drinking because well, I was drinking the bank account dry. I was always stressing how bills were going to get paid, and was forced to take out these high interest internet loans to get cash fast.

Well those loans were paid off in full today, and my car will be paid off next week. It just seems like all these weights have been lifted off my shoulders...can't even describe how wonderful it feels. Before on payday, I would sit down and scramble to figure out who I could pay and who would be paid late. Now we have extra money, and can buy things we have needed/wanted for a while.

Now these things being paid off would have been paid off if I was still drinking, but knowing that I won't be back to "that place" is wonderful!!
