So I messed it all up again, I have been sneaking out the house drunk leaving my fiancé and small child a sleep while I go out and gallivant like a teenager. I wont go in to details but needless to say its not the first time
that she has woken up and iam gone! its really sad and it breaks my heart that I can act this way whilst drunk I would never dream of doing that rubbish sober. Anyways she wants me out which is fair enough I deserve everything I get, iam a scum bag!!

On a positive note I will be taken through the steps over the coming weekend and will continue to build my relationship with Jesus Christ!! thanks for listening just needed to vent! god bless you all!

Sorry to hear this Lionhearted. Last time I remember reading a post from you it sounded like you were doing really well. Can you identify what went wrong?

Yeh iam selfish a coward a scum bag and many other things that's what went wrong!

Beating yourself up does no good - low self esteem just makes it easier to drink.
Put that energy into making real, lasting changes instead lionhearted.

That's not a practical reason. Was there not something specific? Sorry but a blanket reason ('I'm selfish') is a way of sidestepping the issue. Try not to beat yourself up over this. Learn from it and move on x

Drinking never brought out my best. Its hard to maintain a degree of self respect, when my judgement and self control was so corrupted by alcohol.

Redemption is there for us all.
