Climber122 | 05-22-2013 07:52 AM | Alcohol affects many areas of the brain - but the cerebral cortex (the area that usually inhibits irrational behavior) may be what is causing this behavior. With our inhibitions removed by alcohol, alcholics do all sorts of dangerous and destructive things. You may have some anger issues that are surfacing when you are drunk. You may not be sleepwalking as much as "blacked out." You may want to consider seeing a doctor and seeing if rehab would be right for you, as it sounds as though your alcoholism is showing symptoms that are immediately life-threatening. Please don't hesitate to call a doctor today and make an appointment, or if you can't afford that, find your local AA meeting and go there and ask for help from the group, and they may be able to point you to a rehab. Your life depends on it. God bless. |
